Transportation

My team and I used bodas (motorcycle taxis) to get from our pastor’s house in to town. We never paid over 50 Ksh for a ride. Bodas are pretty much everywhere in Kitale, so it shouldn’t be a problem finding them.

Our ministry contact recommended a local Kenyan, Uncle John, to give us rides to attraction sites on 2 off days. He is super trustworthy, and offers reasonable price. Please call him at +254-722304780; email unclejohntaxi@gmail.com

We had AirTel as our cell phone provider and it worked great in Kitale. There isn’t much WiFi in Kitale, but my team had two internet sticks. One was from Orange and one was from SafariCom. The Orange one worked better than SafariCom.
